I have not purchased this product yet and at this point probably will not. HTC appears to no longer be in business. The phone number listed on their web site and in the product manual has been disconnected. Amazon customer service cannot contact the company also. If any of the tools you intend to use with the product have offset mounting holes (not inline with the mounts), according to the product manual you must purchase kit J-104 that provides brackets to mount the tool to the supports. Amazon does not carry the kit and at this time it seems impossible to purchase the kit.
The fact that the company appears to no longer exist also does not bode well for obtaining any warranty service. I also question how long you will be able to obtain pairs of mounting brackets for additional tools.
This is very unfortunate because this product seems to fit all my needs and none of the other stands available seem as versatile.
This product looks to be headed in the same direction as the Betamax.

I thought I had done a resonable amount of research before buying this, but I guess I screwed up. I was really dissapointed with this purchase. Sure, on paper, it looks like you get a lot for your money but there are issues. I sent mine back.
PROs
It looks like you get a lot for your money…..
CONs
1) Arrived damaged despite being shipped in two boxes. Why? Because a number of those orange colored pieces and catches in the picture are cheap, brittle plastic. They virtually crumble on sight. If they don’t break during shipment how long are they going to last?
2) This thing is heavy, with a crude design. Lots of heavy sheet metal. It has that ‘agricultural’ feel about it which is common with a lot of tools made in China. [The steel pins that hold the legs in place fell off twice when trying to set this thing up - they're just held in with a spring. Even when up the bench still wobbled - strange, considering the weight of the thing.]
3) Difficult to move around. Sure it has a skinny wheel at the front but the bench is pretty wide, long and cumbersome when folded down. It makes it naturally unstable and difficult to balance. Try wheeling it around on even a smooth surface and you’ll realize you need to use both hands. It’s like pushing a six-foot long wheelbarrow along a tightrope. And you can only really push this thing – you cant’s drag it unless you want to walk backwards. Trying pushing it over rough ground – forget it. Oh, and that wheel – the hub is also made from the same crapola plastic.
4) Difficult to carry. Most of these portable benches you can pick up with one hand. Try it with this one. Sure it’s heavy but it’s also wider and longer than most making it unwieldy to move around. You’re going to spend most of your time patching and repairing the things it bumps into as you move it around. And for more fun, try to drag it up a set of stairs!
Overall I would not recommend this. You could spend less money on one of the many alternative products and get something that is not only better engineered but more portable and user-friendly.

I needed a miter saw stand for my new Ridgid 12″ compound miter saw. I have not got very much storage space, so I needed something that was transportable and I could store easily. I looked long and hard at a lot of other miter saw stands, however the Portmate 7000 was the only tool center. While a bit pricey, the Portmate had a number of key features I liked, especially the fact its ability to mount other bench tools, e.g. routers, planars, etc
Among the user-friendly features: versatile and able to mount other bench tools, four-outlet power strip, legs that fold up for easy storage, wheels and an end handle make for easy transport, a storage compartment for safety glasses and ear plugs markers pencils etc, set of machine mounts, adjustable work supports with fold-down rollers and stops, flexible work light, and a heavy-duty cast-aluminum bench vise.
The only downside is my 12″ miter saw was too large and did not mount on center using the provided machine mounts. I had to mount the saw on a piece of plywood to offset the mounting screws enough so it would mount on center. I don’t blame Portamate for this as you cannot support every tool with a generic design.
I did have a problem, the mounts for the vice were bent during shipping and did not securely attache to the saw bench. The company really should the improve sturdiness of the packaging/shipping materials. However, when I contacted the company they sent me replacement mounts. My view is a product is only as good as the company that stands behind it and HTC/Portamate did right by me.
Overall this is an great product, with many thoughtful features, and I would recommend it.
